Fall Program Schedule

It’s Party Time!

Summer reading is almost over and it’s time to celebrate all the reading we’ve accomplished!  The party for all Summer Reading Participants and their families is on Tuesday August 19 from 1:30-3:00 PM.  We will have games, crafts, and food for all.  Please bring a snack to share.

To thank the VolunTeens for their assistance at the library this summer there will be a VolunTeen only Celebration Party on Thursday August 21 from 1:30-3:00 PM.   We will have ice cream sundaes, snacks, the Wii and other games to play.

Since our Summer Reading Program is wrapping up please remember that the LAST DAY FOR PRIZES is FRIDAY AUGUST, 22.  Thank you all for a great summer and I hope to see you at our End of Summer Celebrations.

Summer Reading Is Almost Here!

I know many of you have questions about the Summer Reading program so I hope this helps!  Summer Reading Registration starts June 26 at 1:00 PM.  That’s when you can start counting the books you are reading!  Summer Reading actually begins on Monday, July 7.  There are programs available for ages birth through Grade 12 and everyone is welcome to participate regardless of where they live or go to school.  All the programs are free, however some do require registration, and to participate in any of the programs you MUST be signed up for the Summer Reading Program!

If you are entering Grades 6-12 you may also be a VolunTeen and earn community service hours.  Sign up to be a VolunTeen anytime between June 16 and July 1.  You must sign up for Summer Reading to be a VolunTeen!
